How was the 6-hour operation and the post-op? I did not feel anything all throughout the six hr procedure coz i was on general anesthesia
however i would be lying if i'd say i did not feel anything after the
procedure it is very evident that post-op pains are experienced in
every kind of surgery but it is bearable and depending upon the
person's threshold and tolerance on pain.
How was the healing process? Mine
went perfectly fine i did not have post-op complications and problems as
i
followed strictly every instructions given me by Dr. Roura.
When did you
go back to work and gym? As per Dr's instructions one month after the
operation. I'll be on vacation for about a month when I do the
procedure. Is this enough time? That would suffice.
Do's
and don'ts (is sex a big no-no for 2 weeks?). Precisely, as you would
be swollen all over with small tubes stucked in your body so as to
drain the excess & unwanted blood. Even if I workout on a regular
basis, I tend to slack on my workout routine at times.
Also
on my diet, I reward myself during weekends by pigging out on burgers,
fries, kare-kare. Do you have a problem with this? I would be
fabricating stories if i'd say no, that's primarily one of the reasons
why i decided to perform the surgery on me but I guess just like any
other diet or physical fitness regime or surgery for that matter will require a patient to be very disciplined and have a strong determination
to sustain whatever that was made artificially, i mean come on, Dr.
Roura is just a professional surgeon when it comes to this technology
but she is no magician to retain what she has done despite the abusive
maintenance and lifestyle of a patient who underwent the surgery, she
was just one big help and instrument to achieve within six hours, a
body that every man and woman would die and desire for, but beyond that
it will all be up to you in the end.
