| Tummy tuck is the removal of excess skin from flabby tummies, mostly due to stretchmarks. It can now be safely combined with liposuction to create a beautifully sculptured body. An inconspicuous incision is made in the lower part of the abdomen hidden in the pantyline. The incision is extended to enable the removal of excess skin with or without repositioning of the belly button. Incisions are neatly sutured back together to create minimal scars. Stitches are removed after 7-10 days. Swelling may be extended. Although results can be seen immediately, final figure is usually seen after 3 months. |
