REVALIFT for the FACE

• Am I a candidate for the REVALIFT procedure?

Revalift is useful for individuals in whom there is a degree of skin wrinkling but not significant skin looseness. It is recommended for individuals in their thirties to the early fifties who would like to have tigher and young looking skin without having to go under the knife and who are not candidates for a surgical facelift

• What conditions does REVALIFT treat?

REVALIFT is good for mild to moderate skin laxity, it treats wrinkles on the nasolabial folds, crows fees, frontal lines and neck lines.

• What do I expect during the procedure?

Treatments take about 30-45 minutes.  There are two modes of the procedure,  First is the PLACING mode where in the handpiece is placed in certain parts of your face and heat is emited by the machine.  You will feel momentary heat upon each application,  this is a comfortable sensation.  The next mode is the SLIDING MODE, more heat is applied on the skin from one point to the next, this is the mode that causes immediate skin contraction.  The cool tip and the application of heat may cause a momentary mild redness of the skin. No other side effects have been reported with this technology, making it the safest on the market.You will feel an instant tightening effect and immediate skin lifting will be observed.

• How many treatments do I need?

Multiple treatments, usually 5, are required and these are administered every 2 weeks for best results. These feel warm but are not uncomfortable.  After the treatment sessions, collagen continues to form making the results more noticeable over time.  Results last for 6 -12 months and yearly treatments are recommended to maintain results.
