Roura said it is through these workshops that she came to know of vaser liposculpture. This is an advanced contouring technique, and is performed with ultrasound-assisted lipoplasty technology. Vaser Hi-Def selectively removes small deposits of fats surrounding muscle groups in order to enhance the visibility of the natural contours and an athletic look. The technique allows a surgeon to go into areas previously off limits to liposuction and to sculpt the body in such a way never before achieved by convetional liposuction. The doctor was personally trained by Dr. Alfredo Hoyos, the Father of Vaser Hi-Definition Liposculpture in Bogota,Colombia, in March 2008 under the course conducted by the Advanced Body Sculpting Institute, Lone Tree in Colorado.
